Just follow the steps below and in a few days, you will have grown your own lunch! Growing your own Cress What you will need: A packet of Cress seeds Paper towels Plate Water Experiment: Place several layers of paper towel on the plate and sprinkle with water until damp. Scatter seeds on top. Place on a sunny windowsill. Keep seeds and paper damp and watch the cress grow. When grown, cut with scissors and eat. Questions to think about: What would happen if the paper towels dried out? What would happen if you moved the plate away from the sunny windowsill? How does the taste of salad cress compare to Iceberg or Romaine lettuce leaves?
